RDL GIRLS PROJECT

The RDL Girls project was started in 2009 to support five little girls by providing them with the basic necessities such as food, shelter, education, medical attention, tutoring and after school activities.

Through our licensed partner in Ethiopia, we are able to prvide for Mekdelawit, Rediet, Betselot, Rediat (2 of the girls have the same name) and Selamawit. These girls are between the ages of 3 and 7. They have lost either one parent or both and are living in a very low income environment where their guardians struggle to care for them.

This program ensures that they are nourished, clothed, transported to school and back and tutored. With the support of our donors, RDL sends on the average $3,000/year.

Now in 2016, RDL Girls project continues to support our initial five and additional seven girls who are in the same age group and have identical needs. The added seven children are currently attending pre-school and the remaining five have moved on to elementary school.
